2011 Specialized Enduro trade for 2005 Devinci Ollie

I have a 2011 Specialized Enduro 2011 Specialized Enduro M5 Frame - New and Used Bike Value
2011 Specialized Enduro M5 Full build- Excellent condition

and a guy wants to trade me for his excellent condition barely ridden 2005 Devinci Ollie
2005 Devinci Ollie - New and Used Bike Value

...should i make this trade? I will be shuttling the bike a bit but also plan to ride uphill and long distance. thanks!

p.s. i think the welds on the enduro are disgusting, they look like shit...which is the main thing that has me discouraged...as my other bike is a 2002 intense uzzi slx which is a work of art

Go for it if your not happy with your current setup. Sounds like an easy way to try something new

Would you be trading a frame for a full bike or a full bike for a full bike?

Either way, that Ollie looks like it has pretty old school FR geometry (bad) - massively high BB and a short wheelbase. Also the rear shock and brakes are much less evolved then what you'll find on a modern DH bike, while the fork was entry level for an 888 at the time.

I'd pass just based on the geometry of the frame.
