If gravel bikes are funny, this oneís a hoot! Vielo V+1 content

    Meet Dave Groad...

My new gravel/road/CX/singletrack slaying, mile munching Vielo V+1. This replaces my long serving Turner Cyclosys Prototype, another awesome ride but it was time to upgrade to some newer components and standards.

This ones a limited edition of only 15 made in the camo finish (thatís paint, not decals!).

If you havenít heard much about them, thatís no surprise, Vielo are a new company based in the U.K. just up the road from me.

The best thing I can do is show you these videos that will give you an idea of what theyíre all about:

No I donít work for Vielo but I am excited about my new bike and just wanted to share.

I'm sure it's nice, but a very expensive frameset that won't take the latest Shimano top end brakes? I hate changing standards as much as the next guy, but post mount on a 2018 frame seems a bit of an oversight to me.

    Enjoy though.

Thank you. Well I believe they had their reasons for sticking with post mount and as I wonít ever run Shimano on this bike (probably on any bike nowadays) it didnít really bother me.

I am a post mount fan, for sure.

Not a fat of the high bottom bracket, low stack, and short fork rake though.

Either way, sure is a looker.

I suppose itís all about how you look at the bike and itís intentions though? This thing rips on the road but is hugely capable off road too, theyíve hit a sweet spot with that geometry, they really have. Holding it next to my Cyclosys, it is very much more like a MTB and I think thatís a good thing.

To each their own, bikes geometry is like shoes. What gives one person blisters fits another like a fluffy pair of slippers.

Thanks man, I do like it, I've put a few miles on it this week and managed to ride it on and off road, it's truly gifted at both.

I like the flats and the dropper post. Frame looks like fun, hopefully you have some trails to rip on.

Thanks! It's a lot of fun, I know a lot of people wont get the flats in particular!
