    xcl seat height on tech stuff

    i know it's different for all but just wondering. we have some nasty stuff that i'll change on but lots of stuff where i dont

    Are you asking how far people drop their seats? If so, for me about 2 - 3 inches. Actually, my next big purchase will probably be a height adjustable post.

    yes lowering in tech stuff, 3-5" seems to be what most around here do.

    I normally don't drop the saddle on my XCL. I've found I can slip off the back and use the inside of my thighs to change directions and weight the bike. The bike ROCKS in that regard!

    Big drops and stuff I'd probably want to drop it. However, for trail riding with 2-3 footers being the norm I can handle it just fine. Any bigger than that and I'd want a different bike anyway.

    I rarely drop my XCL's saddle more than 2". Frequently 1" or less is plenty.
