XCL computer and thread locker recommendations

I had a wireless DBASE computer ready to install but nowhere on the bike was a suitable mount for the pickup; it was too far from the spoke magnet. So I’d just like to know what computers you guys may have installed that work well.

Also I emailed Alan Chang to ask which thread locker they recommend on suspension bolts. He said blue, but I’ve read several posts here where people complain that it simply wouldn’t hold. What’s the consensus here?

    Cheers,

    John

I've been using a Cateye Micro Wireless without any probs; pickup zip-tie mounted on fork, computer on stem.

Been using the same Cateye Enduro for a few years now.
Used to go through a new computer every season, but the Enduro has been very reliable.

I'd say Blue, or medium strength is recommended to start - if a bolt is problematic - try using a new bolt with red.
