X-Post CHUMBA releases all New Trail Bike - the XCL!!

Are you the type of rider who loves pedal efficient trail bikes that feel comfortable on epic rides? Strong and stiff enough so you don't bounce around everywhere; but light, nimble, and capable enough to handle twisty single track and the longest, most technical climbs. If so, you will love the XCL.

When Ted Tanouye designed the XCL, he had one thing in mind: flawless performance. With 4.5 inches of progressive travel, the suspension is buttery smooth. The wider diameter tubing and in-house CNC machined rear end make the XCL handle the most aggressive XC style riding.

Like all of CHUMBA's bikes, the frame is handcrafted in Anaheim, California by Ted -- the same person who designed the frame -- and ran the factory race team to two Norba National titles in a time span of 2 years. The frame is constructed with the highest possible standards, with absolutely no shortcuts taken, and every detail overseen by industry veterans.

The XCL will retail at $1699.00 and will be available in Mid-August. Call Alan at CHUMBA Racing for more information at 714-986-9180, or visit http://www.chumbaracing.com/xcl.shtml.

Looks just like a Titus Motolite. But the seat tube is bent so you can't drop your seat for decents. And the Titus costs less.

The bent seat tube got nixed from the final version, the pic is a prototype. All the models we have in stock are straight tubes. The XCL is burlier and stiffer than the Moto, and all handmade in the US. Enough different from the Titus that is will appeal to different people.
