whats the best custom made trailbike/all mountain?

whats the best custom made trailbike/all mountain? price range should be around $5k-10k

is it Titus Motolite(am)?, Seven DuoLux(xc)?

im asking this in behalf of someone, he wants the bike to look unusual and expensive at first glance.

I second the Sevens... after working with Independent Fabrication, Moots, Seven, and Carl Strong, I believe Seven compares well with all the aforementioned builders in terms of quality, but blasts them away in terms of lead time. I was on my Seven exactly four weeks after sending in the specs through my LBS -- the other builders quoted me lead times of at least 6 weeks.

I second what LIFECYCLE said...everyone's different. However, I've been on my custom geo DEAN Ace since Feb. and still get a kick outta riding it. I was quoted 6-8 weeks and it was 6 weeks and 1 day. Not to bad at all.

A guy I ride with ocassionally has a Moots 29er and it's absolutely gorgeous. Another friend has a Seven road bike and it's amazing. So do some research on each manufacturer and read some reviews. All are great in some aspects and all are bad in others.

Either way, a 10K ride is gonna look and ride schweeeeeettt.
Why would I need more than one gear?

There aren't that many but here's a few
Ibis Mojo - if you like carbon
IF Tungsten - get custom painted areas over the Ti
Seven Duo Lux (or Duo 6.5 if you like scaffold)
Maverick ML7/5 or ML8 - send it to Spectrum Powder Works for a custom paint job.
    Moots Zirkel or Cinco

    There must be others!

Forgot that Nicolai offer custom options too (including a really nice camo paint where you choose any 3 colours)
I guess the Helius CC at 4-5" is the all mountain rig, but there's beefier ones too.
