What happened to Underground Bike Works & John Parker?

Underground Bike Works / John Parker hit the ground running with a booth at this years Sea Otter Classic, and Missy Giove representing their frames. A Kickstarter campaign was underway to get the first batch of frames sold, and the future looked promising for the Yeti founder.

But now the Kickstarter campaign has been cancelled, and there hasn't been any news as to why. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...und-bike-works

Anybody have info regarding John, UBW and their venture to making bikes again?

Looks like they got private funding:

We have been offered and received an initial funding round allowing us to proceed with the manufacturing of or our bikes overseas! We will be releasing our $2,750 27 & 29 plus hardtail bikes soon! The US FTW bikes will be available as well, as bare frame or complete bikes. All kickstarter contributors please contact us for your free t-shirt just for signing up!
The correct number of bikes one should own is N+1, where N is the number of bikes currently owned.
