Switchblade after 1st Ride

Just got my "pre-owned" Switchblade in the mail. I took it for an ill-fated first ride (got a flat and crashed.) The only real complaint I have is the Magura Martas, while offering good modulation, were pretty weak in stopping power. I guess I should have tested them out on safer terrain first, but they just couldn't provide enough stopping power to even rub off speed on a sketchy downhill (leading to the crash.) I'll try bleeding them to see if it gets better. Otherwise, I'm quite happy with the bike.

From Specialized to a Titus

My 2005 Moto-Lite (large, grey), to replace a stolen 2004 Specialized Enduro Pro. Insurance can be a wondeful thing.

The parts...

Race Face Deus XC crank & bb
Shimano XT front der.
SRAM X-9 rear der.
SRAM X-9 shifters
SRAM cassette
Shimano XT hubs
Sun Rhyno Lite rims
Avid BB7 brakes (185 fr, 160 rr)
Avid levers
Cane Creek C-2 headset (this was a freebie, will upgrade eventually)
Fox Talas R fork
Fox Float RP3 shock
Race Face Evolve stem
Easton EA70 riser bar
Race Face Atlas seat post (I'm a big guy)
WTB Speed-V saddle
Tioga Extreme XC tires (also a freebie, will also upgrade)
and some kind of freebie grips.
I also tossed on a Cateye Enduro computer.

This is my first time using a SRAM rear der and shifters and so far they are great!

I gotta say...I am loving this bike.

New HH100X

I spoke with Charles at Interbike about the HH100X, and knew that Titus was working on the last run of his bikes. I had ridden one for several days last Christmas, and I knew it was a great bike. I told him that I wanted one and to contact me when he started getting them in. He called me sooner than I expected. I only waited a few weeks to get it. 23" TT HH100X with freeride rear triangle.

That's a great shot! She's clearly hauling ass off the lip of that xc drop totally relaxed with perfect body postion: head up, knees bent, elbows bent, pedals level, fingers off the brakes... I think she's even smiling a little... It nearly gives me goose bumps :D
Totally agree. That's that best action shot I've seen in quite some time!

Very, very cool.

My third Titus

My new 05 1/2 Moto-Lite is now the third Titus in my stable. I haven't really hit the trails with the ML yet, but here are a few pics.
