    The Strong

(This should really go in the new strong frame thread but it would be burried somewhere in the bottom and you'd probably never notice it)

Its my new bike - Strong Titanium.
I've only had one ride so far so I won't judge anything yet and comming from 4 years on a fullsus I should probably spend some time on it before I'm re-adapted to the world of hardtails. Furthermore I know I have some experimenting with stem, bars and tires ahead of me.

Can say one thing though -it climbs like a rocket and scares the hell out of me on descents -again: I'm comming from four years on five spot

Simple lines; and very classy looking. One of the nicest new bikes I've seen posted in awhile.

Wow - if a bike could look menacing, then this is it. Enjoy!

    The inspiration

With a bit slacker angle on the headtube
    ...a shorter stem
    ...bigger discs
    ...belt driven
    ...and some other minor details

-It's actually pretty similar to this one:

Nice bike, hope your Strong serves me well as mine has. What is the thinking behind the arched top tube? I've seen it on a few bikes before, someone enlighten me please.

Actually it's a "vasectomy present" from my wife -thus standover height is no longer an issue!!

I'm kidding of course. But with 3 children delivered and one on it's way -perhaps i should consider it

Congratulations on your new bike. She's a beauty!!! Love those sexy curved tubes.
As a fellow Strong owner since last June, I love my steed more each time I ride her.
May you have as much fun with yours as I've had with mine!
    Ride on
