    short bottle cage bolts?

Hi, My Ted Wojcik and my Independent Fabrications steel bikes have bottle cage bosses that are sealed, so the bolts can bottom out in there. I am having a hard time finding short bolts, and if I use washers the bottles slide against the bolt heads.

I checked multiple LBS and a hardware store, nothing. Anyone know someplace I can find some? Online is fine, or even just the bolt type. I think I need M5x6 or M5x8.

    Thanks.

    Have a look at Purelycustom.com

I got some nice bottle cage bolts from there that were a little shorter (about 2mm less) and lighter than the stock bolts that came with my bike.

    Better yet

Save your money, I have an older Fat Chance that is the same as the Independent Fabrications, I used disc brake bolts - the bolts that you use to mount your rotor to your hub. Worked perfect.
