    revelation 150 on xcl

    Hello,
Just want to ask if anyone has tried the new revelation 150 race on an xcl.?I can get one fairly priced compared to the adjustable u-turn version.Just wondering if it would still climb well with it. .Im currently using a pike 454 coil u-turn and dont use the travel adjust and just leave it at 140 all the time.
Anyway im hoping the 150 race will cut about 1.2 pounds from my 32.25 pound xcl and might slacken it a bit for a little more stability.
    Thanks in advance

I run a Lyric U-Turn at about 150mm all the time. I would only drop to 130 on extended climbs.
I can't vouch for that fork, but that geo is spot on for aggressive XC/AM riding.
A friend has one on his Ellsworth Moment and he likes it. He's old and weak and is trying to save weight.

Thanks for the reply.Your friend kinda sounds like me hehe. Will give the fork a try, can always take out the steering tube spacer and try lower rise handlebars if it makes climbing a bit harder.

Once you get used to the geo, you won't go back. The front end may tend to lift on steep climbs, but I have just learned to compensate by moving my taint more forward on the saddle.

Oh thats what I was afraid of.Will think about maybe just spending a bit more for the peace of mind of having u-turn for the times I ride relatively steep extended climbs that I once in awhile encounter.
    Thanks
