    Retrotec Picture Thread

How about a Retrotec picture thread for this forum.

I know one was started a while back in one of the other forums, but I wanted to start one here for anyone searching the Custom Frame Builder forum.

Tell me about that frame, if you please. It doesn't appear to be one of Retrotec's standard offerings, yet the pic makes it look like it's being displayed at a trade show. Is it yours, and if so, how does it ride? Sweet choice of color for a retro bike, too. TIA,
    - Joe

That bike isn't one of his "standard" cruiser hardtail frames. But Curtis will do custom shapes based on customer request. The bike in the above photo is one of his Interbike show bikes.

It's not mine, I wish it was though

Some more photos that I saved from the old forums and gallery sections.

    Enjoy!

    Man, do I love Retrotecs!
I'll post pics of mine, when I get it... supposed to be early OCT... but, might take me forever to build it up... want it to be poifect. It's going to be a Half, like the first pic but with only one top tube. There is ony slight little secret about it, but that will have to wait.

    Ah... the countdown begins.

I've heard that they are around 4.2 lbs for the half. Mine's going to be roughly 3.5, I hope.

The Classic cantilevered frame weighs around 4.5 to 5.0 pounds according to a phone conversation I had once with Curtis.
