Recommended steerer tube length for XCL

    Hi everyone,

Need your inputs. I'd like to know what the recommended length of the steerer tube for a Chumba XCL (small size). I haven't cut-off the fork (Vanilla R 32) since I installed it on the XCL... current length is approx. 9".

    thanks!!!

Best way to tell is to get a professional fit. Barring that, don't cut the tube until you know you have it set right. I use a singe 1/4" spacer on top of a king headset with a 100mm 10 deg. rise stem. But that's me.. there are so many variables here that it is worth a few hundred bucks to get a good fit done. That goes for any bike.
