    New Bling For My Evo

    Just got this today, can't wait to ride it. I've taken a couple of laps around the house and down through the vineyards, I can already tell how much more plush this shock is than the dhx air with the settings I had to run. I'll do a write-up when I get some miles on her.

    Looking forward to the CCDB write up.

    CCDB = Wow.

    Front Brake Line = Snare for small animals.

    Tires = Yikes.

    That shock is probably the best one I've ever ridden. Lucky man....

    Haha. Kind of strange looking, isn't it (well, maybe not as strange as the red tires)? It's worked great so far, and it gives me a real nice feel on the front pull.

    The tires are my latest attempt to find something that doesn't weigh over 1000g and won't blow off my rim when I land a little off camber. They've been better than what I had before (specialized pro's) but have still burped hard on me in a couple cases. I think I need a wider rim than the one I'm running (crossmax xl) to cut back on this.

    I originally built my Evo up pretty light, as "all mountain" as I could, but the bike just keeps pushing me to hit stuff bigger and harder, and so the build keeps getting heavier and heavier as I progress.

    Sure are. I built a little pump track with a table top and a seriously shaky wall ride. Now I can't keep my nephews or the neighbor's kids off it.
