Is my XCL too large ?

Hi everybody. I got an XCL a while ago and I love it, but now that I'm starting to go more
aggro I'm starting to wonder if my frame (large) is a little on the large side.
WHen I got it I was coming from a mostly XC background and when for the large based on the TT being 24". I'm 5'11" with about a 32" inseam. (Thats the size pants I wear)
When standing over the bike I have about 2" from the bottom of the crotch in my jeans
to the lowest part of the TT.
The thing that makes me wonder about the size is that jumping is a bit difficult and I recently test rode a bike with a 23" TT that was much lower standoveer and it was easy.
Also, negotiating switchbacks going down steep sections seems a bit more difficultt.
I love the handling of the bike overall, but just wonder if I somewhat limited the number of things that I can do easily by going with a larger frame.
    Thankx

I think it could be a tad on the large size - you can e-mail me at [email protected] - to see if there is anything I can do to help.
