    My XCL build

Finally got some pics of my new build.
Transfered most from my Wolf Ridge (Pikes, BB7, Mary bars, etc)
Some new stuff are XT front, Truvative Stylo AM, X9 rear mech/shifters)
The front mech and XT cassettes are the only Shimano components left.

The original Pike SL. Heavy sucka with steel steerer.
The pedals are CB Mallets. Gave DMR V8s a try but couldn't get used to not being clipped in.

As a side note: Looks like you have Cleansweep rotors. Are they significantly better than the Roundagons? (my BB7s came with Roundagons)

Nice looking bike. Any ride reports?

I will probably be getting my hands on a XCL soon as well. Just trying to figure out what my budget allows as far as parts go.

I was thinking about the Mary bars, how are they working for you? I've got a Titec Pluto XC riser bar on the way.

I've only had two short rides so far, still nursing a knee problem. (reason for building this so I can give SS a rest).
As others have mentioned, it does seem to pedal lighter than the weight (about 32lb), and I like the little extra room compared to 23" top tube Wolf Ridge it replaced.
As for the brake rotors, I don't really feel any difference from the SS which has the newer style roundagon.
And Chucko, Mary's been good for my wrists. I'm a bit older and work in IT so anything to help keep carpel tunnel healthy.
