    Broken San andreas

Here is a picture of my san andreas frame after going not so big. This was off a two foot tall jump, my feet slipped off the pedals and but hit the seat and the rest is history.

Did you contact MC for a warranty replacent? Your frame is covered under a warranty. If you were given a new frame and treated fairly, please show some respect by removing the negative photo and comment you posted.

    Thanks,

    Tim

Please reserve this thread for riding photos.

As a matter of fact I contacted you directly at the e-mail address in your signature twice, was asked for the same info and heard nothing back. Two months have gone by and I have not received a new frame or even a reply from you or anyone at MC, without sending a follow up e-mail, asking what is going on.

Until this point I was a very satisfied MC customer. I commute EVERY day to work on my Rumble, and used to ride my San Andy every weekend. This experience has seriously tainted my opinion of and experience with MC.

I'm sorry if we lost you in our system. We typically are real quick about warranty replacement frames once a customer has sent in all their purchase info with serial#, copy of receipt, and shipping info.

I'll try to find you email and re-forward it to Eric at MC HQ.

Here's me on my old San Andreas with it built up like one of my dirt bikes and "moto whipping" it like one too. I urge people not to build up their San Andreas frames this way or abuse them, get a 9.5.

It seems a bit unreasonable to me to expect a replacement on an xcish frame that is 5 years old.

Congratulations on breaking your five year old frame. My San Andreas frames would typically last me three months of freeriding.

This thread is the "MC Action Shots" thread. Have you considered reading the "MC Warranty" thread? http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=360753

On that thread you will read that there is a new MC employee who has been hired just to process warranty claims. this thread is the "MC Action Shots" thread.

    My old San Andreas

    Well,
This is a picture of my riddingmy old San Andreas classic at our local trails at Parnitha mountain, nearby Athens.
Unfortunatelly this protected area has been destroyed from a fire a few months ago (this is tha "sad" Greek story, of criminals burning forest areas in order to use the land, an operation well suported within the Greek state).
Now i am ridding a SIN, which harles quite simmilary with the San Adreas, but even better.

trying to keep XC alive...a few shots from the Teva Mountain Games last weekend in Vail.

Oh, and pardon the spandex (er, I mean lycra).

I woulda rocked a MC jersey but apparently they've given up on XC. Which is a shame.

Weetamoo Woods‎ in Tiverton RI. My first time there. I explored a good portion of it. It has a lot of double track but fortunately most of the trails are rocky & very tech. The place is a little known gem just waiting for some ‘real’ trails to be built. I wish I lived closer…

OK. I was asking because I recently put on Sturdy 2.25 s front and rear on my Fury.
I'm OK with the front, but no so much with the rear. After I ordered the tires, I found out Geax had recommended the the Sturdy 2.25 F with a 2.2 AKA R for my type of desert riding.

They're pretty good. They just don't like the marbley stuff when on the rear. No tire does of course, but some are better. Other than that, the Sturdys are a fine all around tire here in the dry.
I used to use Maxxis tires like the Ardent and Advantage, but they're getting too thin in the sidewalls in the 2.25 sizes and their prices are horribly high.

That's beautiful. It kinda reminds me of the California coast ranges.

    Californian Scotland.

Was taken back in summer months on a riding holiday. Did a beer fueled tour of the seven stanes trail centres.
