    Manitou swinger on XCL?

After 3 months of being underwhelmed by the performance of the DHX Air on my XCL I want to try running my old Swinger as a comparison. The DU bushing inside diameters are different so it's not a matter of just a quick switch. Would I go through Chumba or Manitou to get the proper hardware? The long shaft that attaches to the swing-link might be hard to find.

You'd probably have to go through Manitou to get the hardware. It just needs to be the same width as your current hardware (I forget the exact measurements) and have an 8mm I.D.

BTW, I should have my XCL up and running on Wednesday. I have a X-Fusion shock on there that I wanted to try.

Edit: Saw that you mentioned the size was different on the Manitou.

    How is it underwhelming you?

Another affordable option is to swap air canisters. It will feel like a completely different shock. Try the next size up.
