The guys at Chumba have really done their homework on this bike! This bike handled anything I could throw at it. (santos/snowhill) I rode all kinds of tight twisty stuff,root, rocks and short steep climbs today and can say that I rode faster and with more confidence then on any 26" I'd taken out there. I've read lots of reviews on 29 bikes and was a little leery of the big wheel handling on our tight trails here in florida but felt nothing negative and some positive. You differently feel the bigger foot print when turning but I liked that, felt more solid/balanced. Climbing was a breeze, you can really feel the big wheel roll over most stuff that I would have normally steered thru. Working with the guys at Chumba is second to none and large companies should model their CS around these guys.
