    e-type derailleur on Evo, compatible?

Hi all, im planning to run slx double crankset on my evo, ive heard you need to use specific front derailleur, which is for double only. Im currently running xt e-type (tripple), will that work? Do i have to replace my current front derailleur? Thanks.

You don't need a 2-ring specific derailleur. The XT will work just fine. Just set the limit screw so that it won't shift into the 3rd chainring you don't have.
