    Chumba F5 shock hardware measurements...

Anyone just got a new shock or something recently on their bikes??? I'm getting a new shock soon and was wondering what the hardware measurements... Would measure them myself but i'm stuck in school (yes, on a saturday) and the bike is in my dad's garage... Was wondering if anyone had them or wouldnt mind measuring them for me. Thanks in advance...

whats up Poh ? I joined the chumba family yesterday as I scored a killer deal on a used VF2 frame to replace the Blue K2 (broke seat tube). I Built the vf2 into a light AM with a joplin, hiem 3-guide , Talas 140 rlc and some nice 2.35" tires, bike weighs 30.8 and will get its maiden ride Wed. A few of the fresno group did the cccx dh last sunday but i was happy to just drive them and watch as I only had my xc bike and did not feel like slipping and sliding like the guys in the video below.

I am slower than ever after breaking my leg last year but Matt is getting pretty fast on the heckler. Ride safe, Les

Just in case anyone is in need of the hardware measurements. The reducer you need is 15.8mm wide with an M6 hole. The bolt that chumba specs is M7, but since no company offers reducers with a 7mm hole you need to get an M6 and drill it out ( use a lathe for perfection). Get the three piece style, they last longer than the top hat style that comes with the DHX's. Here is a link to an example:

First one on the list, they will even drill it to M7 for you.
