    Carbon Swingarm (XCL)?

Looking at the new adrenalinebikes.com web site they show that a carbon swingarm option is available for the 2009 Chumba XCL. It is suppose to be 1/2 lbs. lighter and stiffer for only $299.00 over the alloy version.

Come on Chumba let's see some pics!

    Yes, do tell Chumba guys...

Here's the first part of their description:

"This is the new 2008 XCL with a carbon rear end (chain and seat stays). The XCL Carbon Pro is 40 percent more laterally rigid and weighs over half a pound less than the XCL Comp, yet costs only $300 more! The carbon is so strong that in destructive impact testing, it was found to be substantially stroger than the aluminum rear on the XCL comp. All other design elements are identical to the XCL Comp."

I'm no fan of carbon but I do find this interesting. I can't imagine the lateral rigity would be even better than it already is.

Will the carbon rear be sold as an upgrade? I'd be interested..
