I've seen some in the snow here in Steamboat, but mainly under factory workers. Too expensive vs. the carbon Fatbkes that are available. But it is still a Moots and looks great, If you can afford one.

Yep...def pricey. I saw one recently sell for about half price in great shape but it was not my size.

It looks to be an 18, or maybe 19. I don't really take pics of bikes for sale at bike shops.

    Good pics here:

And you know how nice the welds look.

Thanks. I was curious about the build, but it is the wrong size anyways.

Nice. Looking to buy a frost hammer end of summer/early fall. Would like to have this built up ready to go for fall and winter. Any feedback on this bike is appreciated.

Sure. I've owned a MX Divide for 2 years and its now for sale. This bike is incredible. No need for a full suspension bike anymore. Frosthammer weighed in at 23.4 lbs which is amazing. Climbs easy, downhill forget it. Crushes rocks, logs, anything you throw at her. After about an hour into my first ride my confidence of going over things has tripled what it was. I've been running 10 psi in the tires. Tight single tracks she holds well. There are some little changes in my riding technique you have to change/get used to simply because riding a fat bike is a little different than riding a "boring" mountain bike. The Bluto makes a world of difference compared to no front suspension in my opinion. I test rode the Borealis, Specialized fat bikes which are fine in their own right. I wanted to stick with Moots because I'm loyal. I believe that investing in something made in the US by hand is worth something and I really wanted Ti. Love love love this bike. Wow.

23.5# is lighter than my Mooto-ybb.

    Hey skibum,
Have you ran the Frosthammer as a 29+? Would love to hear if you have and how you liked it.
I'm thinking about the Frosthammer has the do it all bike. Fat with 5" tires or throw on some 29+ or even regular 29ers. I'd run it with a Bluto regardless. Would love to see more pics of it. I've never seen one in the wild.

Bike has been possibly the best investment I've ever made. All summer ran fat. Never put 29 on her. Too much fun w fatties. Just plows through everything. I don't race anymore. Don't care to. Bike is so comfortable. I just love it. I have more pics one sec
