Yes - it really looks distinct - haven't seen anything like it before - I think it could look really sweet with silver, black, and carbon parts.

that looks awesome...the downtube look a bit boring in comparison.

when will she be ready to get dirty?

I presume it is a little lighter than the other red/painted/powder coated frame, too.

    Thanks Punkey -

The downtube is actually kind of trick also - it's manipulated and shaped so as to flare out horizontally heading to the BB for better compliance around the BB area -

I am thinking of tearing down one of our XCL demos and building her up with an all XT groupo - need wheels and a fork though -

Yea - it probably is - ano always tends to run a tiny bit lighter than paint or powdercoat - especially when running clearcoats and multiple layers - etc.

    Now your talkin'!
Anno is definately the way to go on that frame. It really shows off the tube manipulations.

That sounds about right. I read once that a heavy paint job can weight like a quarter pound. But only half of this frame is painted anyway.

Wow, super clean. Way better than the powder coat color (that is, unless you're a trojan fan...)
