Another EVO sizing thread....

This is my 1st post on the forums.


In my search of upgrading to a All Mountain/light FR setup from my current Giant Anthem 3, I have narrowed it down to an EVO. Im currently deployed to Korea for 1 year and moving back to Alaska so accesibility to bike shops for proper fitting is rather hard right now.

Im 5'10 195, 30" inseam. I know im right on the edge of Medium/Large, and im leaning towards a Medium at the moment. Im very comfy on my medium Giant at the moment with no issues.

Any Inputs?

I would highly suggest the medium for you. I am 5"11 and ride a medium EVO and XCL. The most simular geometry to your Anthem 3 is the medium EVO. For a free-ride/all-mountain bike I don't think you would want to go larger than your cross-country bike. I was able to demo a large and a medium and I was able to handle the medium much better on the technical side, and climb just as well.
