I rode this place for the first time yesterday. It was a slop mess at 8am and by 930 things were better. What a great spot to ride. Iíll be going back for sure.

Nathan Hale is a great spot...I agree that in general it drains well but the last few days the area has been hit with torrential rain. Showed up for an after work ride on Thursday just in time for serious downpours/T-storms. We waited it out but aborted after an hour. There are some pretty technical sections there.

Ive heard very little about Nathan Hale.

How does this place compare to Case as far as mileage and terrain (tech, climbs, descents)?

Like most areas...depends. There are some great loops without long climbs but plenty of tight singletrack and technical rock gardens. There are other loops with more climbing and fun downhills. Case loops we ride have longer hills / more climbing and many more miles to choose from but Nathan Hale has more than most realize.
