Looking to get a new good bike

    Hey guys!

I've been riding for a couple years now on a hand-me-down GT bike that I'm sure isn't the right fit or setup right and I want to go and get a proper bike that fits and is setup properly.

Can anyone suggest a good shop that can do this?

    Thanks!

I live in Shelton but I'm willing to travel if somewhere is particularly good.

Cutting Edge CT probably has the best floor selection of bikes in your area. Their prices are fairly 'standard' (seem high compared to online deals), but they come with a lifetime of cleaning/labor/installation for new parts that you buy through them (but they charge MSRP for those parts). A bunch of other small shops around the state, just depends on how much you are willing to work on a bike vs. how much you want help doing the work. Cutting Edge usually collaborates with their brands to do demos throughout the year too which are nearly invaluable for choosing your next bike.

I really like College Street Cycles in New Haven, and purchased my most recent bicycle (Giant) there.
