XT 81XX Cranks ... Help me understand.

I have found three XT cranks,

    8100 - "normal"
    8120 - "boost"
    8130 - "super boost"

    Now my questions:

    1) Do all three share the same left crank arm? I believe 8100 and 8120 do, as Stages sell a power meter that does both. What about 8130?

    2) To be more future proof, if you have a "normal" non-boost bike that runs 1x (so no front derailleur), can you just get the 8120 cranks and have it still work fine? Looks like the chainline will be moved a few mm, and the q-factor a little. But in 1x10, would it really even matter?

I have just built up a bike with an old frame (2015 rockhopper 29), and I know I'll swap out the frame at some point (for a carbon hardtail 29er with boost), and if I'm buying a set of XT cranks and a power meter, I'd like them to fit the next time.

From what I understand, you can run a non boost crankset on a boost frame.
