Wolftooth Remote I spec AB mount

Just switched from a bar mount to the ispec mount and I've noticed a decent amount of play. It looks as if the wt barrel is smaller than the standard shimano and thus moves around even though the connection is solid. Anyone else experience this?

I did a couple years ago. It just wouldn't snug up even though the bolt was tight. WT even sent me another mount set-up but it was still same problem. I think they ended up figuring out that there were certain runs of Shimano brakes that had slightly different specs from what they made their mount for...or something like that...it's been a minute. My brakes were early XTR M980 Trails. I ultimately solved it by grinding down that little barrel just a tad. Issue fixed and no problems since.

Yea the wt barrel diameter is too small in my case so it wiggles in the brake. Might have to take the stock shimano barrel and grind it down also.
