    Whiskey Parts Co stems?

Recently upgraded to 780mm wide handlebars on my Transition Covert. The old bars were 720-ish mm and I am running a 65mm (31.8) stem. Upsweep and backsweep is nearly identical between the old and new bars. From most articles I have read when you go with wider handlebars you can/should shorten your stem. I have always run either Thompson or Raceface stems and never had any issues with either, but neither are cheap. I recently came across the Whiskey Parts Co and really like the subtle look of their stem and size options. At $40 a pop I can buy several sizes and experiment with fit without breaking the bank. Can't find any reviews of them online so I was wondering if anyone here is running one and how they like them? The model I am looking at is the #7 MNT stem. Thanks!

Whisky Parts Co is a QBP house brand. They're not top end stuff, but they're not junk, either. My first encounter with them years ago they only made carbon bits. Looks like they've branched out some. I had a Whisky carbon cx fork awhile ago on a different bike that a shop screwed up by cutting the steerer too short for the customer. The length was perfect for my bike, though, so I got it fairly cheap.

I have one in 50mm. Nothing fancy, fit and finish as expected, does what it's suppose to do.
