Is this dropper serviceable? Can't remove bottom cap.

    Hello,

I have what I believe is a TranzX YSP03 dropper (however is not marked as such). It came stock on a 2017 specialized ruze (womens' version of the fuse).

I assumed that it would open like most TranzX/cartridge-based dropper posts, that unscrew at the seal and the bottom cap. However, the bottom cap is not unscrewing, even with a good amount of force. It seems like it has a membrane around it (see pictures). Could it be press-fit? I'm scared to apply too much force.

    Thanks.

Update: case closed. Just scary amounts of brute force was all that was needed.

Some kind of super strong dried loctite on all the threads.

Good idea, thanks. I'll add it to the arsenal.
