chris king sotto voce headset - do all 1-1/8" models have a silver rim?

I like the blacked out Chris King Sotto Voce headset. But based on a variety of pics that I see online, it looks like the 1 inch model is totally blacked out whereas at least some versions of the 1-1/8 inch model have a silver rim at the top. Can you confirm if this is indeed the case and/or if there is any way to purchase a 1-1/8 inch CK Sotto Voce headset that is totally blacked out without the silver rim? Looks like Competitive Cyclist is advertising a new version of the CK headset with a "GripLock" feature:

Does it appear that I purchased the previous model of the 1-1/8" CK headset from jensonusa last week having a silver rim characteristic of the previous model?:

The jensonusa product page description doesn't mention the GripLock feature. Or is it possible that Competitive Cyclist is simply improperly showing pics of the 1 inch model as opposed to the 1-1/8" model?

That silver rim you see is just a white plastic washer. It's supposed to sit under any spacers or your stem to keep them from marring the top cap. Optional and removable.
