2004 Giant Sedona DX 19" -how do I ID my RockShox so I can order a rebuild kit?

Hello I'm new to the forum, a middle aged runner with sore knees. I just got started in biking this year. It was embarrassing--until 6 months ago, I thought bikes were the things you bought at Walmart. I went through about 5 bikes before I found a 2004 Giant Sedona DX

I've learned to service my bikes since I used to be a mechanic.

I have a 2004 Giant Sedona DX and I would like to identify the RockShox so I can service them.

Is there a website with specifications?
I have tried the Giant Website and all the standard Bicycle websites, but no luck.

    Thank you in advance

they keep a lot of documents on their website. You might have to look at the archives to go back that far assuming they're even still available. It's a bit clunky and you'll have to navigate to your fork but they do keep a ton of information available to the user.

if you're questioning what type of fork you even have you can email them with the serial number and they will give you the model and year.

The serial number could be a few places but most likely on a sticker perhaps on the steerer tube or engraved on the back of the fork crown or the inside portion.

Thanks I appreciate it. Old bikes are the way to go if you aren't prepared to buy something new and expensive

Does anyone know if a vendor sells a Rockshox Jett C 1999 Service Kit?

Does anyone know if a vendor sells a Rockshox Jett C 1999 Service Kit? I called SRAM. They could only say that the replacement forks is the Thirty Silver. There are tons of good bikes out there from late 1999 to 2000 and up. You mean when your Rockshox die, so do the bikes?
