Hi!
My partner and I are coming to Portland from 10-17th of March and we would like to discover by bike.
Isn't it the capital of bikes?
Any ideas on a rental shop with "normal" bikes?
Or even better, does someone would like to rent his/her bike for the week?
I'm sure they is some bikes that are staying unriden that would love to be ridden...
I mean just classic, used bikes, nothing fancy, that you would use for your everyday commute. A pitty of traveling is that it is expensive to bring a bike with you, specially when you're heading several destinations.
So far, many bike I have found were big and heavy and new bikes or expensive MTB that you don't want to bring with you in the city, worring to have it stolen. We don't need something fancy.
But maybe you have an idea of a place that could hire something like it?
anoter option would be to buy something cheap and used (or maybe something cheap and new), then donate it to a bike co-op when you are finished with it.
