We're too soft. She'll get a telling off, if that. I had worse abuse than that and the cops did nothing at all. The world is all wrong.

We need some kind of anti-idiot organization for these types.

Eventually someone like that will get physical with the wrong person.
You change your own flats? Support your LBS and pay them to instead.

I've had multiple interactions like that while riding.

Old, young, white and blue collar, etc.

Some people just hate you because you ride a bike.

The funny thing is that many of these people don't realize that the other participant in the interaction gets a say in how things may go. They automatically, and wrongly, assume that the cyclist is going to lay down and take whatever they want to dole out.

In my old line of work, we used to use the saying, "The enemy gets a vote, too."

The woman in the first video did end up getting charged with something after the fact. Don't remember off the top of my head what it was for.

I think breaking someone's mirror is not exactly an appropriate reaction. I guess the car driver said something very annoying but nonetheless this will not change driver's behaviour to the better.

Actually I wonder why the cyclist is there at all? Is not the best place to be it seems.

Any way, I think another (maybe innocent) cyclist will pay the price for this.
