    So from what I gather, cyclist runs red light on bike, cop asks him to stop, cyclist does not stop, cop tackles cyclist. If a cop asks you to stop, and you don't, you are now breaking the law. If you are in your car, and a cop lights you up, and you don't stop, and you get the pit maneuver put on you, yeah, that is the same thing. You stop. That is the cyclists fault, and he/she should be ticketed.
    The pedals turn, not just the left one, but the right one too.
