    Question about pants

So I have noticed this problem with the back right leg of my pants right below the pocket on all of my pants are starting to deteriorate (sp?). I thought it was the stock saddle that came with my vaya at first, but then I switched to a brooks b17 and it still happens... I think it is possible that it is caused by maybe my legs? I'm about 5 11 190 with bigger legs but I am not sure.

Anyone have this problem or know a solution? Thanks

    I think it's friction.

The only solution I know is to ride in to work in cycling shorts or something along those lines, and then change. People seem to do okay with other synthetics too - I think cotton just doesn't do so well with long-term abrasion.

I don't ride in pants so don't have the problem.

Buy "cycling" pants then change to "work" pants when you get to work.

    Thanks for the responses guys.

I have noticed the problem though on cycling specific shorts as well. Not bibs, but I have a pair of swrve knickers and some mtb shorts and the same happens on them.

Swrve is now making some jeans with Cordura. Maybe that will help. I'm hoping they make shorts and knickers with the same material too.
