Post Pics of your "beater" bike.

Everyone has that bike that they don't care to keep a nice paint job on or don't mind it getting clanged-up against another bike on the bus or train. It gets wet with mud, snow, and rain and we let that dirt and road debris set to dry on our hubs, tires, and spokes.I just pressure washed mine last night and re-lubed the drive-train. But lets see those beaters!!!

This is my "beater" but it's also my everyday commuter (well everyday I ride anyways). 1991, I think, Raleigh Scorpio. It's got a flat bar on now but no current photo. Beater it is but I've done over 4000 miles on it in the last year and a bit.

Blue on the right is mine, 2001 Kona at the entrance to the AFA a couple months ago.

Been a great bike but it's missing lots of paint and now that I have a new bike, this one has to be the beater. It rolls great and will be a great spare or loaner.

bachman must spread some Reputation around before giving it to himself again. :madman:
