New Personal Best Commute Time for 26inch wheels

Finally beat my previous best time to work for a 26 inch wheel bike. (i've been faster on 700c) The previous record stood for 2 years. Bask in my glory....

Always nice to lay waste to lighter weight bikes.

So far this is my best attempt on a partially-dirted/partially-paved MUT, with about 5 miles of having to ride on roads with cars. Bike is a 42 pound Surly Pugsley with 22/32 + 11/34 gearing:

Going to try to beat those times next week.

OK now I feel slow. LOL. You guys are pretty swift especially considering the ride.
Do you recall any wind (head, tail, cross) on those particular rides, Keski and LP?

On the expressway section (which is slightly uphill for a few miles), I was aided only by the wall of wind generated by the cars moving swiftly by (45+MPH, most of them speeding 10+MPH over the limit, thanks to the budget cuts that reduce the number of police on patrol). My bike runs 26"x3.8" Surly Nate (front)/Larry (rear) tires on 65mm wide DH rims, so plenty of rotating massÖ but once I get them rolling, they keep the momentum going.
