Nashbar riggid fork+ Montague Paratrooper pics.....

To me, this Nashbar riggid fork looks a little tall/steep for a SS commuter build im planning.....but what do you folks think?

This folding MTB frame used to have a 140mm sus. fork.

Um, I think it might be about right. Framed designed around an 80-100mm fork are usually ok with a 415ish a-c rigid fork. Salsa's cromoto equates a 425 a-c length to a replacement for an 80mm fork. Soul Cycles has their rigid fork for sale and it is 455 for 100mm suspension correction. Buy it.

Best way of doing things is to put the 140mm on the bike, sit on it and then have someone measure. By the way,

The Paratrooper came with a 80mm fork. Can't get the photo to work, dreaded red x.

Montague puts many different sizes of sus forks on the same frame. 80mm, 100mm, 140mm...but they couldnt tell me what size my 03' Paratrooper should have. They are clueless.
The Nashbar Riggid is 453mm A-C, which worries me, i dont want a chopper.
