    Messenger Bags
Does anybody have any recommendations for a messenger bag that's made of a vinyl type material? Similar to what the bottom 1/4 of the flap on the chrome bags is made of?

I'm looking for a non-discript (preferably black) bag that I can use paint markers to graffiti on.

look at timbuk2 bags have a ton of options, you can even build your own if you don't like their pre-designed bags.

I use the Seal Line urban shoulder bag. It works well.

Companies like Reload (http://www.reloadbags.com/index.php) make a lot of custom stuff so you might contact them and see what they say.

I use a Chrome Metropolis and and am very very pleased with it.

I was looking for a messenger bag to replace my non-waterproof one and my mother caught wind of it and decided to help me design and make one. We used two simple layers- cordora and a waterproof layer. It ended up costing about 50 bucks total and we bought way too much fabric. And it has been great for over a year. Lacking a mom with free time, try this route.

Thanks for the replies guys. At this point I'm not really looking for custom, that's the fun part that I wanna do myself! I already have a timbuk2, so I'm really just interested in a messenger bag that is made of fabric that paint marker will stick to. I'm not sure, but I don't think the cordura on my timbuk2 would be a good surface for detailed paint marker work.
