    martinsillo's Short Report

    Hey guys!
1 year, 6 months, and 9 days have passed since my last post!
    I'm alive! hehe
Hope all of you are doing great!

In the same time I have taken my bike for a ride two (2) times, one in February and one today.

Things were hectic during that year, but I think and hope everything is now stable, I'm hearing some not so encouraging things at work, but nothing I can change for the better. I'm now living and working close to Houston.

I'm committed to riding again and loosing some weight, I really don't know how struggling with everything leads you to not fail in gaining weight! hehe..anyways...

I'll be sharing in the usual ways what I do in the forum..somehow I know this will help me with my commitment, hehe and of course I'll be sharing some pics..hopefully they'll be more interesting as I ride more...and of course I'll try to commute to work soon as I get comfortable on The Baroness and solve the shower issue, since there is none at work...I'm thinking on a gym close to work as I did back in Monterrey, but I need to check on that.

As far as the stable goes The Baroness is still strong and The Pugdozer is still down with a broken stem...I might get a cheap one soon...having Galveston that close to home is making me think about it a lot!

    Well that's it...this was just a re-introductory post...hope to see you around a lot!

    ohh..this week numbers
    Week 1 (9/13/2015)
    # Rides: 1
    Miles: 14.90

and The Baroness doing some trespassing today..

I'm sorry that you're near Houston. I lived a couple hours north of there for awhile and had to go to Houston frequently. Hated it. In some respects, I did like the town I was in. In others, not so much. Like most places. Houston was one I just couldn't enjoy much at all.

Howdy, Martin. I thought your bikes were all stolen. Trying to think what`s missing... a Pacer? Well, glad you`re back.

Welcome back man. Ride ride ride.
You have no excuse for driving to work
(unless you don't have studded tires)
    (no excuse for that either)

Get the pugdozer back up and running and take it up into the Sam Houston NF or the Davy Crockett NF. Super sandy trails out there, and quite some good mileage (great for bikepacking if you're into that). I wish I had a fatbike when I lived down there.
