    A Little Change

I was over at my wife's uncle's house on Saturday (I went riding with the wife's cousin, details in another thread https://forums.mtbr.com/passion/firs...ml#post8392510) and I was talking about my commute. He asked me why I don't ride a road bike and I told him it was because I don't have one. He proceeded to tell me that he had one out in the garage that he never rides and that I should take it for a spin. We ended up going out to the garage and pulling it down from the hook, where it has been for the last 10 years. We put some air in the tires and off I went. So guess what I rode to work today...

It's a 1980's Ventura Super Le Baron. I have to admit, the ride in today was much quicker than it is on the 29er with knobbies. I think I'll be switching off and on from now on.
