I have to quit bike commuting
After 8 years of bike commuting to work (and 5 of riding to school), life caught up with me. The school system moved start times back 15 minutes, and my kids now get on the bus at 8:45. I had previously worked with my employer to start late at 9 (half hour commute), but now I couldn't make it. It's not reasonable to start later.
So after years of riding through snow, sleet, rain, heat, and everything in between, I'm stuck in a steel box instead. 5 years till they hit middle school and I can commute again!

Plan B. Cargo bike, drop the kids at school, then go to work. Maybe the school is close to your work?

Thank you for the suggestion, unfortunately, it's a triangle between work, school, and home, and drop off time is the same as bus pick up time. I am thinking about riding them on the cargo bike to the first stop on the bus route then continuing on from there.
