Have any of you tried the sette Xion?

Sette Xion Tiagra Flat Bar Road Bike at Price Point

I'm mostly wondering if those wheels can withstand a 190lb person with 50lbs of groceries in a free load rack and if that fork can handle winter commuting. Although I could just buy a steel fork for it at that price.

No experience with it, but it doesn't have braze ons for racks or fenders. That's a deal breaker for me, not sure about you.

    How about a Cross Check?

I've been watching that Xion ever since it came out. Looks sweet.

I currently commute on a flat-bar road bike and love it. It's the best of both worlds - flat bars with decent brake levers like a mtn bike coupled with skinny 700c wheels and road grouppo shifting.

There was a complete black Xion in the scarch-&-dent section for $399. I think it was a 56cm. Maybe that would work for you?

I just can't justify another bike right now. Wifey would kill me! But if I did, it would probably be a Xion.
