    Florida "Impeding Traffic" case

This one is going to be interresting to watch.

The forum where I first read about it also had some exerpts from the public comments (that I can`t see on my connection for some reason), including at least one by the cyclist who was ticketed. Any rate, the guy was cited and is apparently going to fight his ticket in court next month- I`ll be watching.

In other news, it looks like sentencing has been delayed until Jan for Doc Thompson, the infamous teacher of lessons down in LA.

The law as stated in this article contradicts the officer's statement. Obviously she's interpreting the law to suit her own twisted personal agenda.

Another dumb-azz cop who doesn't know what they are REQUIRED to know.

Auto-centrism is enough to make me think about moving to another country. I hear New Zealand is nice this time of year....

Would the cop have stopped somebody in a car for doing 10 mph less than the posted limit?
    Good luck to the cyclist.

Yep, he's in the right. Sounds like Florida has a pretty standard set of cyclist laws. It was a substandard lane width. He can take the lane.

Without knowing the street and traffic situation, I agree with Schmucker. Let`s see if the judge does too.
