    Finally did it!

After making excuse after excuse as to why I can't commute. I finally did it. And man what was I thinking? Why did I put it off for so long I enjoyed it hope I have more trips like it. I think on my trip home I am going to make a 30 mile detour Not sure I am up for commuting everyday. But It's a start right?

NIce work. Be careful, it becomes a habit pretty quickly.
You have no excuse for driving to work
(unless you don't have studded tires)
    (no excuse for that either)

Well, as long as you have enough excuses why you shouldn't ride everyday.....

You know, its cold, its cloudy, I'am tired, I slept in, its forecast to rain, I didn't see the forecast, I need to oil my chain, I need to put air in my tires....

There that should last a couple of weeks anyway.

    That's a habit I can deal with.
As for excuses. A few excuses would be.... heavy rain (I'm new to this so give me a little break), can't get home in time to to take the kid to baseball/karate or the famous....Just don't have time. Unfortunately I have squeeze bike time in with everyday life. But the BEST excuse would be.....I have to hurry home to get the MTB for a ride on some singlerack!

Good job and congratulations on finishing the hardest part (starting)! I started bike commuting a few months ago and thought exactly the same thing... why did I wait so long? I don't do it every day, usually 2-3 days per week, but the habit has stuck and I can't see going back to driving every day. I am stoked for you, and for all the other new commuters I saw on my way in this morning on Bike to Work day!
