    Fender mounting

I have SKS Crusher front fenter which reqires a star nut mount. I built a commuter with an a old SID fork with only 3/4 inch opening at the bottom of the tube. Can't find a 3/4 star and wondered if anyone had a suggestion for an alternative expansion nut. Also wonfer if the SKS mounts for the ShocK Board might work. Tim

Does it have a 3/4 inch opening at the bottom, and then it opens up to a full size tube, or is the whole tube 3/4 inch internal diameter?

If it's an opening and then a larger diameter tube, you could drop a fat washer and a nut down from the top of the fork tube.
You have no excuse for driving to work
(unless you don't have studded tires)
    (no excuse for that either)

Or hammer a star nut all the way down and use a longer bolt.
