Does the spec. sirrus have inlet holes for a rack in the back?

Looking at buying a sirrus from the geometry scales, but was curious if it had the inlet holes in the back for me to attach a rack to it.

    Thanks for any help.

From the pics on S`s website, it looks like the modern Sirrus has upper rack mounts on all except the top end carbon model. I can`t see the dropouts well enough to say for sure, but I can`t imagine them having uppers and not lowers.

The cool old lugged Sirrus (whole different bike) had lower mounts on all AFAIK, but very few had the upper mounts.

well i'm particularly looking at an '05 sirrus elite.

having both top and bottom areas where you can mount a rack would be great.

    Eyelet not Inlet.

They have archives that go back to 2002 with photos, specifications and frame info.

    Bikes > Archives > 2005 > Sirrus > Sirrus Elite

The Technical Specifications for the Frame and the Enlarged Photo of the bike will reveal what you want to know.

You might already know, but there are a few racks on the market these days that have skewer mounting options for the bottom end. Most of them happened to be expensive racks until recently, when somebody (Axiom?) started selling a much more economical skewer mount. As for the top, there have pretty much always been options for bikes without upper rack bosses. Much easier and cleaner though if you can do it the "standard" way.
