    Break even point-small victory

When my little girl got cancer, I decided I would ride my bike in charity events to raise money for kids with cancer.

I cancelled my MBTA bus pass. Bought a nice bike.

Well, I have just crossed the break even point for the purchase of the bike after 58 months of saving $50 a month by not buying a bus pass. Not always easy in winter but I have done it- rain shine , snow and cold.

Small victory, and she is doing great!

Your bus pass is a steal.

    $141.50 CAD/month here. Plus tax.

That's a lot of bike stuff.

"When my little girl got cancer…"

    Talk about a tough opening.

    "She is doing great!

A very nice finish. Hoping, the story ends with:

"And she lived happily ever after."

Best of luck to you and yours.

Damn. Aside from best wishes to you and yours, give yourself a pat on the back after last winter. Grizzly, man.

    ^ + 1

Translates to: "And she lived happily ever after." or close enough!
